Meet Saran – The Heart & Soul of Afro Baobab
Born in France and raised in Conakry, Guinea, Saran’s love for African culture runs deep. After a successful career in investment banking and credit insurance, she craved something more, connection, creativity, and cultural celebration.
As a mother of three, a devoted wife, and a dynamic entrepreneur, Saran sought flexibility and purpose, leading to the creation of Afro Baobab a brand dedicated to bringing Africa’s rich heritage to life through immersive events. With every gathering, Saran bridges cultures, tells stories, and crafts unforgettable experiences, sharing the beauty of Africa with the world.

A perfect party for my 7 year old daughter from Afro Baobab Events! Saran and her team delivered a unique and exceptional birthday celebration for 30 children. The drumming activity was a huge hit and the activity stations (storytelling, safari hunt and mask painting) provided the kids with an experience they won't forget (the masks were such good quality that we will be hanging ours in our house!).
